Rev. Hosea Williams

Rev. Williams was a civil rights leader, ordained minister, businessman, philanthropist, scientist and politician. He was in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s inner circle as a National Movement Organizer, resulting in the Civil and Voting Rights Acts, among others. Here he is at the start of a march, teaching the crowd. In 1970 he founded Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, remaining a leader in business and politics all his life.
